Welcome to our school

On behalf of the whole team here, I am very pleased to welcome you to Churchdown Village Infant School's website. Here, new and prospective parents and families can get an insight into our wonderful school, while our existing school community can find practical information about each year group, such as curriculum overviews, calendar dates, and our regular newsletters.

We are a two-form entry infant school with pre-school in the heart of Churchdown Village and a member of the GLA Academy Trust.

Children are at the heart of all of our decision making. We provide a safe, happy and supportive environment where children are actively and independently involved in their learning. Our children are caring individuals whose curiosity and willingness to try new things allows them to make the most of opportunities and challenges independently. We place a great emphasis on a diverse curriculum with a breadth of opportunities, bespoke to our school which gives each and every child the chance to shine and develop the skills and resilience they need to become self-motivated, curious learners who strive to be the best they can be and fulfil their potential.
