School Lunches

Our hot meals are freshly prepared and cooked in our kitchen at Churchdown Village Infant School by staff from Caterlink.

A large hall provides a space for children to enjoy healthy food with their friends.

Meals are charged at the rate of £2.61 a day and can be paid for using Arbor only.  Parents select their child’s lunch option in advance on Arbor. Orders can be placed at any time — even weeks ahead if you wish — up until 7:00am on the day the meal is required.  A parent guide to ordering lunches can be found here.

There is a choice of four menu options daily including a filled jacket potato and a healthy packed lunch.  These menus roll on a three-weekly rota.  From time to time, Caterlink offer special themed menus which will be shared with parents in advance.  Alternative to Caterlink's meals, a healthy packed lunch can be brought in from home. We ask that children do not bring fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate to school. We are a healthy school and promote a balanced diet for all our pupils.  It is also very important that children do not bring any food items containing nuts into school, including Nutella, as we are a nut-free environment.

If your child has a dietary requirement, please inform the school office as soon as possible.
