Service Families
At CVIS we recognise the unique challenges children from Service families face, including parental deployments and frequent house or school relocations. We understand that each service family has its own set of circumstances and we tailor our support to meet the individual needs of each child and family. This includes pastoral support as well as academic support, ensuring that all children receive the assistance they need to thrive, even in times of transition and uncertainty.
We are committed to helping all children feel supported, valued and fully equipped to succeed in all aspects of their lives.

Exciting Day with the Army from Imjin Barracks!
What a fabulous day we had! Personnel from Imjin Barracks brought along some amazing army vehicles and kit for the children to explore - the children had an absolute blast! Dressed up in army uniforms, they dove into the excitement of the day, playing with military radios and tackling a PT-style assault course. The joy on their faces as they clambered aboard the military vehicles was simply priceless.
It's so important for our children to learn about the armed forces, especially with many military families in our community facing their own unique challenges, such as lengthy separations while parents are deployed overseas. This event really brought everyone together and helped the children appreciate the significance of the work our armed forces do. A big thank you to everyone involved for making it a wonderful day filled with fun and learning!
Tin Phys
On Wednesday 5th March, a member of staff with connections to the Imjin Barracks kindly organised a 'Tin Phys' session in school. Military PTIs from the camp came to school and delivered a fitness session for the children. In return, families of the school donated an item of food to the local foodbank at GL3 Community Centre. The children had a great time, please see some photos of the day below:
