Welcome to our school!

On behalf of the whole team here, I am very pleased to welcome you to Churchdown Village Infant School and Cygnet Academy’s website. Here, new and prospective parents and families can get an insight into our amazing school, while our existing school community can find practical information such as more information about each year groups such as curriculum overviews, calendar dates, and our regular newsletters.

We are a two-form entry infant school in the heart of Churchdown Village.

Children are at the heart of all of our decision making. We provide a safe, happy and supportive environment where children are actively and independently involved in their learning. Our children are caring individuals whose curiosity and willingness to try new things allows them to make the most of opportunities and challenges independently, building on what they already know. We place a great emphasis on a diverse curriculum with a breadth of opportunities, bespoke to our school which gives each and every child the chance to shine and develop the skills and resilience they need to become self-motivated life-long learners who strive to be the best they can be and achieve success.
