Cookery Club Spring Term 3

Year One started Cookery Club on Monday.  Before embarking on the preparations we washed our hands and put on our aprons.  We made gingerbread cookies and weighed out the ingredients carefully so that they tasted just right.  Ingredients included: 

Plain Flour



Ginger Golden Syrup 

Soft Brown Sugar

1 medium egg

We mixed the flour, cinnamon and ginger in a mixing bowl then added the sugar, syrup and egg to make a dough.  Once the dough was formed we rolled it out and moulded it into cookie shapes.

We baked the cookies in an oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
