Healthy Living Week 2017

It's Healthy Living Week this week.  We've been walking a mile each day to help keep us fit.  We made sure that we did the walking first thing in the morning to stop us getting too hot.  It was still pretty sticky work though!  On Tuesday we had the Smoothie Bike in.  We talked about different ingredients that we could add to our smoothies such as; strawberries, raspberries, mango, pineapple and yogurt.  We put the ingredients into a smoothie maker which was attached to a bicycle.  We then took it in turns peddling to make the smoothie maker work. The smoothies were delicious!

We also set ourselves a challenge to drink a litre of water a day.  We brought in water bottles to school and topped them up ourselves when they were empty.  Thankfully all that exercise was thirsty work so we managed the challenge quite easily.
